Final energy is that which is available to the consumer
for conversion into net energy. According to data for 1999,
the total consumption of final energy in Barcelona is 50.78
PJ. Of this total, 20.54 PJ corresponds to electricity,
15.97 PJ to petroleum, 12.77 PJ to piped gas and 1.48 PJ
to liquefied petroleum gases.
