With respect to final energy use in Barcelona by sectors, it should be noted that, in the case of transport (which consumes 33% of the total), only 9.6% corresponds to public transport, 30% to goods transport and 60% to cars and motorcycles. Transport is also the sector that consumes the most liquid fuel, while a small fraction of this type of fuel is employed in heating boilers and for industrial processes.
