Evolution in the consumption of electricity, Liquefied gases from petroleum and piped gas in Barcelona Source: Barcelona Energy Improvement Plan (PMEB)

By examining the evolution of electricity, liquefied petroleum gas and piped gas consumption, it may be seen that these three types of final energy behave in a similar way. The consumption in the period 1993-1995 is clearly related to the state of the economy but, in the case of petroleum, it also influenced by the “Ring-road effect”.
